Are Electric Cars Better for the Environment than Gasoline Cars?

It contains carbons. When gasoline undergoes combustion, carbons are released in the air. Once carbons access the air, they react with oxygen to form carbon dioxide and/or carbon monoxide. These are extremely lethal gases that cause environmental degradation through a number of ways. The most common one is the reaction of carbon dioxide with water. The product of the reaction is acidic water which falls as rain. The resulting rain is highly corrosive to devices, and also unsafe for human consumption. Health experts attribute the rising number of health complications to carbonated rains.
The above mentioned problems must be solved to reduce the use of carbon. One of the ways to achieve this is to use electric machines. Electricity is not only safe but also efficient to use. From the above mentioned information it can be concluded that electric cars are environmentaly friendly in comparison to gasoline cars.

Unlike the gasoline car, this kind of car does not cause any noise. One major attribute of the electric car is its eco-friendly nature. Accordingly, it remains the most preferred car across the sphere.
The United States of America had its first gasoline car after two brothers, Charles and Frank Duryea discovered the engines that could combust gasoline. Initially, the two brothers were bicycle makers. On the 20th day of September 1893, they tested their first automobile in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1896, Charles Duryea established the Duryea Motor Wagon Company. It was the first company to sell gasoline powered vehicles in the United States of America.
In 1834, Thomas Davenport invented the first electric car (Wakefield 1998, p. 235). The car was robust enough to execute chores just like any other car. Before his invention, many people had made several attempts but could not make strong electric cars that could serve the intended purpose. Thomas was a blacksmith who envisioned the society with electrical cars, trains and trolleys. Since the invention, a myriad of scholars and engineers have striven to make electric cars.
As a result, a blend of electric cars has been manufactured over the past century. The most recent ones include the Ford Fusion Hybrid that was manufactured in 2009; Nissan Leaf all electric that was released in 2010; the A-Class E-Cell which was unleashed in 2010; and the Chevy Volt, hybrid car that was first marketed in 2011.
As a matter of fact, petroleum deposits are on the brink of exhaustion. It implies that a shortage of petrol and gasoline is in the offing. Such a reality has induced car industries to find alternative means of powering their cars. While the electric cars are on the increase, gasoline cars seem to be depreciating in terms of popularity.
